eFoodPrint is a software developed for obtaining environmental, productivity and economical indicators from agrifood productions, taking into account primary data.
eFoodPrint evaluates sustainability of agrifood productions based on primary data by providing environmental & productivity indicators (as Carbon footprint and Water footprint) for all the food chain actors. These calculations are performed in accordance with LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and following the normative references PAS 2050, Water FootPrint Network and the GHG protocol.
We can compare environmental sustainability and resource management between different campaigns/growers/production. We can also propose and implement improvement action plans.
eFoodPrint proporcionates other indicators of productive and environmental efficiency,(carbon footprint, production costs) and an assessment of the irrigation management. It also allows you to compare different results and indicators of different products / productions / producers.
It is the first software to provide environmental and productivity indicadors specialized for agrifood sector. Any producer can use this tool without external help, as it only needs to be feed with agronomical data.
